As part of the Eastern Star Gallery’s many events, the gallery has hosted talks with LA-based artists and members of the Los Angeles artistic community. From talks with artists like Catherine Opie, Rachel Lachowicz and Enrique Martinez Celaya to talks with the Chief Curator of the Hammer Museum, Connie Butler; the Eastern Star Gallery has enlightened gallery students with the remarkable diversity of artistic perspectives in its events. Additionally, students of the gallery class work hands on with the artists the gallery showcases, visiting their studios and exhibitions around Los Angeles.
